Biography: Kishi's mother passed away when she was 5. She was raised in Kobe and lived in a small house with her father and older brother. She met her soul bird, Akka while she was locked up in her room, mourning over her mother. He appeared in front of her in his human form, wiped her tears and said, "Please stop crying." He frightened her at first, but over time, they became the best of friends and constantly talked to each other. Akka's favorite place to sit are Kishi's shoulders when in his bird form, but he mostly prefers to walk beside her in his human form.

When Kishi went back to her elementary school, she quickly learned that talking about Akka was not a good idea, as her friends thought she was weird and began to distance themselves and no one--including adults-- seemed to believe her. So she decided to stop talking about him to anyone around the time her teachers started suggesting therapy for Kishi to her father. In middle school, Kishi got into Tennis and really enjoyed it, continuing to carry it out even when she graduated. The only person who did believe her to the fullest was her brother, Araki. He was the one who looked up if there were other people like her and discovered Tori Academy, also suggesting the school to her.

Trivia: Her voice actor is Noto Mamiko as Kotomi Ichinose from Clannad. A portion of her weight are from her muscles she gained from Tennis and Karate. Her biggest fear is not being able to speak to or see Akka, thus being alone. Although she can be a very social person when you get to know her, she's actually very shy and rarely initiates speaking to or introducing herself to new people, unless she has to. She absolutely loves Dango, and you can see her snacking on them occasionally. Dango is the very reason she joined the cooking club. She doesn't have many friends, but the friends she does have are friends she can depend on with her life, which she met in elementary school. She loves to play her violin and usually plays it in her spar time, plus she's quite good at it! You'll rarely see her without her violin case, as she finds a perfect moment to play at random quiet moments after school.
